Media homework 7/2/16

Kate Beckett is both a stereotype and a counter type of the ideal woman in media. She is a stereotype in that she is a damaged female police officer. Although she doesn't necessarily need a relationship to make her happy, she is married to Richard Castle, also she is beautiful in looks and intelligent. She is a counter type in the sense that she is both strong and independent. As a Captain in a male dominated profession, she is a role model for young girls to look up to.

Central image

The central image will be of 'Columbine' because they're the rock band that I am interviewing.

Buzz words

I choose the buzz words 'Exclusive' because I would like to show that inside the magazine is an interview with the rock band 'Forever Blue' inside that teenagers would want to read.

Title

I choose the title 'RockStar' because it reflects the content of the magazine.

Slogan

The slogan I have choose is 'The best rock 'n' roll magazine ever' because I want the slogan to attract attention.

Price

I choose £2.99 because I want teenagers to be able to afford the magazine.
